Coaching Clinics
North Shore United is a soccer organization dedicated to developing soccer
players of every level and support town soccer programs. Soccer is still
a relatively new sport in the US. Many parents did not play soccer growing
up, some did but are not comfortable with the techniques of the game. Because
of that often town soccer programs can not find enough volunteers to coach
the in town and the traveling teams (more so in soccer than in basketball
and baseball).
North Shore United offers coaches’ clinics to teach coaches basic
techniques of the game of soccer, the rules of the game, ways to structure
effective practice sessions, soccer tactics and different formations. This
offering allows the coach to gain knowledge of the game, it gives them confidence
and most important it allows the coaches to improve the skills and enjoyment
of the players on his/her team.
